Statement of Faith

Hosea 6:3

Let us acknowledge the Lord;
    let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
    he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
    like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Statement of Faith

The Trinity: We believe there is one eternal, almighty Triune God revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Bible: The entire Bible, Old and New Testaments, is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible authority of God’s Word. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah, born of a virgin, and sinless. He performed miracles and died willingly to redeem us from our sins. He was resurrected and ascended to Heaven to the right hand of the Father, where He is our mediator. (John 17:5; Mark 1:11)
The Second Coming & Eternity: He will return to reign on earth in glory and power as our King. We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ and the catching away of the living in the air. After the judgment of the lost into the Lake of Fire, the righteous will live eternally on a new earth. Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected: the saved unto eternal life, and the lost unto eternal damnation and punishment. (Acts 1:11)
Mankind & Salvation: God created man in His own image, but all have sinned and need salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. All who repent and confess their sins to receive our Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again and are children of God, receiving forgiveness and eternal life. Through this, we are justified and freed from sin, and sanctified as the Holy Spirit renews us. Christ now lives within us, making each believer a new creation. (Galatians 2:20; John 3:16)
Baptism & The Holy Spirit: We believe in the baptism in water and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which includes a prayer language (speaking in tongues), the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the fruit of the Spirit. (Acts 11:16; Matthew 3:11)
Healing & Ordinances: We believe in divine healing, deliverance, and miracles, and the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolic use of the bread and the fruit of the vine. (Mark 16:17-18)
The Great Commission: It is our responsibility to obey the Great Commission to take the gospel to the world. (Matthew 28:16-20)
Creation & Marriage: We believe the Genesis account of a literal creation, and the fall of Adam and Eve and all mankind. We believe in marriage between a male and a female, as we were created. (Genesis 1:1; Genesis 1:27)
Relationship with God: We love the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as commanded in Matthew 22:36-40:
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
This means a personal and intimate relationship with our Lord is the only way to live.
